Right now, all I have is GEM-Desktop and GEM-Draw. When you initialize GEM for your system (either setting it up for the hard disk or the floppy), it will ask you what kind of pointing system you have. Tell it the Microsoft mouse. It will then ask you if you REALLY have the Microsoft Mouse. Tell it yes. The initialization program will then ask for the floppy that contains the mouse driver (MOUSE.COM) and will install it in a known place. It works just fine for me. The ONLY problem I've had is running Unipress EMACS before running GEM. EMACS does something to the system tables that makes GEM die in initialization. Re-booting solves the problem. It's interesting to note that if you return to DOS from withing GEM (the EXECUTE DOS COMMAND... menu selection) and run EMACS, there are no problems. Hope this helps...
