* I realize this is a response to a long forgotten subject but.... The real question is about 640x400 graphics. The AT&T indeed does have 640x400 graphics capabilities. I don't know of any software that takes advantage of it except gwbasic for the 6300. There is a "super" resolution mode (in addition to the mediun=320x200 and the high=640x200 modes) which looks great when it comes to drawing circles, etc. Since basic can do it, you can also. Unfortunately, it seems that the only "colors" available for this mode at the present time are black and white, but this is expected to change. This mode is invoked by the basic command 'screen 100', where 'screen 1' and 'screen 2' are for medium and high res respectively. I have a green monitor (my color is back ordered) and since the monitors show the same screen, the super res mode will display on my color monitor when I get it. I might add that the ATT color monitor is a *very* high res monitor capable of excellent text and graphic displays (that is, text looks great on it). ************************************************* * Jeff Miller * * Multimate International Corp. * * 52 Oakland Avenue * * East Hartford, CT 06108-9911 * * UUCP: * * (203) 522-2116 Ext. 257 * * ...!seismo!utah-cs!utah-gr!pwa-b!mmintl!jeffm * *************************************************
