I have watched Bladerunner several times, but each time the scenes were to fuzzy for me to be absolutely sure. At some point, late in the movie, the Nice old man, or the Nasty Corporation President is examining a chess board. This chess board seems to have figurines carved in the shape of birds. I have seen such a board, in real-life, once in my lifetime, and it was obtained in Mexico. It is a beautiful item. My query is, "are the chess board figures birds"? This will simply satisfy my curiosity. A second query would be, does anyone know where such a chess board might be purchased? G.H.A.
