Briefly, the PC 6300 PLUS, announced by AT&T last week, is a
top-of-the-line MS-DOS computer. It runs MS-DOS up to 25% faster
than the PC/AT, and can run MS-DOS as a process under UNIX System V.
MS-DOS and UNIX tasks can run concurrently, and the user can switch
between them at the touch of a keystroke. A combination of
proprietary hardware and software makes it possible to offer this
concurrency while providing virtually 100% PC-compatibility (even
Flight Simulator runs) and insignificant performance degradation.

Thank you.

Relative to its normal mode of operation (eg:faster than an AT) or
relative to the performance of a regular PC?

Personaly, this machine sounds exciting to me. I intend to check it
out, and if both the MS-DOS/IBM compatibility and UNIX V (with news?)
work well, I wll GRAB one!

Anyone out there with the UNIX PC have any experience trying to get
uucp to run?

Unix is (TM) of AT&T
