[net.micro.att] Question on DOS 2.1 Redirection

How can you redirect the output normally directed to a parallel printer
to the screen instead?  MODE LPT1:=SCRN: or CON: does not work.  I'm told
SET doesn't work either, though I haven't tried it.  Thanks for any suggestions.
