I am looking for a schematic capture package suitable for producing clean drawings of moderately dense circuit board designs. These drawings would be used by a service bureau to produce artwork for the production of PCB's. I have looked at the DASH-2 package on IBM PC/XT, and was not real happy about the user interface. I am also looking at one of HP's software packages. In order to run the HP stuff, I would have to buy new hardware. On the other hand, I have this 5620 DMD with its own 32-bit processor, 1 Mbyte of memory, and a lovely high resolution display. Has anyone put together a schematic capture system that uses the 5620? I'm willing to lay out real money for such software. And for you AT&T people, I would also be interested in any "in-house" tools -- Bellcore, my employer, is entitled to use most anything done at Bell Labs prior to January 1, 1984 (and some things done afterwards).
