Many people have written asking what needs to be done to upgrade a 7300 half-meg card to 2 Meg. I will post the details once I reverse-engineer them. I am in need of an unmodified card to use for a comparison. Somewhere in the Bay area would be best. Volunteers? I have been experiencing huge numbers of crashes, but I am told this is due to limitations of the 2.0 release of the OS. 3.0, which is now available (though I haven't gotten it yet) is supposed to fix it. If you haven't gotten the AT&T announcement on the upgrate, you should call the 800 number of the Customer Information Center listed in the manuals for documentation orders and ask for Operator 902 (actually his name is Earl, but...) The OS upgrade is free, but the Utilities (cc et. al.) update is $195. This will be going up to $495 in March, so there is reason to do it soon. -dB --
