[net.micro.att] SVR3 and an easy way to get it

The simplest answer to getting SVR3 if you've got your UNIX PC already -

Call the Software Information number for NJ that's given with your
old SVR2 stuff. When you get an operator on the line ask them
how to get SVR3 and they'll give you the appriate phone # of the
person to talk to.

According to AT&T there's about a 1 week turnaround so you won't be
waiting for months on end like I was when we needed to get our machine
fixed the first time (bad clock battery).

Also, you'll be required to send them Disk #2 of the System Software
pack so they can be sure that you bought the machine.

P.S. I just noticed that the terminal emulator (async_main) has a series
of new options. You can now upload/download, save session to a file,
make a hardcopy of the session, and transmit text files all from the
options menu. Nice addition. (Hit shift-Cmd for options menu).
