[net.micro.att] 6300 battery

gpw@ihlpf.UUCP (Wilkin) (01/09/86)

We don't replace them, we recharge them.
Try using standard Ni-cad wake up tricks: look in electronic mags
for ideas. The charging circuit on the 6300 won't bring an almost
dead battery back. You will have to use an outside power source.
There are jumpers to isolate the battery from the main feed.
Please seek someone with Ni-Cad exper. before removing the old battery!

hint:
The battery is around 3.5-4.0 volts, and Radioshaft has battery carriers.
Do not go over 4.0 volts as the clock stops working then.
