Because of an architectural change in the 7300 software between releases
2.0 and later releases, the functions of the "cron" daemon are now handled
by the "smgr" daemon.  If you have both "cron" and "smgr" running, then your
crontab will be executed twice.  Therefore, you should have no "cron" program
running if you have release 2.01 or later.  You can shut it off by
deleting or emptying the file /etc/.cronstart and rebooting....
