Thanks to a number of kind individuals, I have a file transfer program to start up on the VAX here whenever I call in from my 7300 and want to use the <shift-cmd> options to move stuff from one machine to the other. If anyone else needs the source, please let me know and I'll E-mail it. The file is on the order of 1500 lines long, mostly because it contains so many #ifdefs for use on different systems. On another note, I tried to run a plotting program I'd written a while ago for the 7300 (almost ready for distribution) after upgrading to version 3 and noticed a few differences. For one thing, a window which before had been borderless now had a border, which I would guess is due to differences in the TAM routines. Also, GSS Graphics routines no longer produced output in the window, with either the old (version 1.0) or new (version 1.1) releases. However, and ioctl() call that reversed all pixels in the window did still work. Any ideas? Perhaps these changes are documented some where, but since I got no new manual pages, nor GSS Graphics manual, only documentation on using the new Office, I really don't know. Are there some things that I should have gotten but didn't? If so, what are the titles so I can sound authoratative when I call up the AT&T operators? -- Michael Richmond Princeton University, Astrophysics {allegra,akgua,burl,cbosgd,decvax,ihnp4,noao,princeton,vax135}!astrovax!richmon
