The 7300 Terminal Emulator Auto Logon sequence is now documented in version 3.0, however, I am still unsuccessful in getting it to work for me. My login sequence requires that the terminal initiate the sequence with a CR, whereas the documentation seems to imply that the sequence must always be initiated by the host. Also, after the terminal sends the initial CR, the host responds with several lines of user info (I'm on IH datakit) and it's not clear how to keep this from confusing the emulator which is looking for a specific pattern on the last line. Any ideas? Bill Jenkins ATT-BL IX 312-979-1540 ihnp4!ihuxw!wwj

Last time I tried it you could force the unix pc to start off the logon sequence just by leaving the first receive field blank. It does look confusing though. Anyone found out how to get the autologon sequence to send a BREAK yet? -- Jonathan Clark [NAC]!mtung!jhc My walk has become rather more silly lately.
