[net.micro.att] PS1 not being set when going into a Unix window

I recently switched back to running the ua at login time because I got
tired of having to reset the system when micro-emacs would go into a
infinite loop.  All my environment variables, except PS1, seem to be
getting past to the unix window.  Is there a way to get PS1 set to what I
have in my .profile?  Thanx.
