Has anyone out there had any experience in integrating application code with the User Interface of the UNIX PC(7300)? How would you compare the Terminal Access Method (TAM) calls with some of the higher level library functions such as menu, window, form, track, etc... I have not had much experience with the UNIX PC. From my initial investigation it appears that the TAM facilities provide a device independent interface which supports windowing in a low level manner. On the other hand the other library functions appear to be on a higher level than the TAM library calls but dependent upon the UNIX PC window manager. Am I heading in the right direction with these assumptions or am I totally off the mark here? Also if anyone has had any experience in integrating some application code that they have written with the PC's window manager I would appreciate if they could elaborate on their experiences.
