well folks, i have heard that the 7300 isnt doing as well as ATT had hoped. i have heard speculation that they are planning to drop the 7300 in its present form. it seems that the 7300 never found a niche, and as such, never really sold. seems the two paths being explored are dropping the price heavily to make it more competitive with the IBM/AT class machines, ( but what would happen to the 6300+?), or just to drop it completely. the people i have spoken to are not sure if this will affect the 3B1 or not. they are also talking about 2 *new* machines, internal manufacture/design, unlike the 6300/7300's. one is code named the "apache", it seems. there was alot of amubigiouity in the details about where these two new machines would fit in the product line. so, and of you heard anything similar? any thoughts from the ATT people reading this? i know that an ATT support team reads this list, you folks have anything to say?

PFUI! (as Nero Wolfe would say) It is fascinating to read what other people surmise about our products. (The 7300 is the 3B1!) What is the "other" product you have heard of?
