A while back I posted requests for information about removable hard disks from which XENIX could be booted on an AT&T PC6300. I have stumbled into the answer, and thought others might be interested. I've successfully booted SCO XENIX 3.0 from a 10M removable hard disk called the Sunflower, made by Kustom Electronics, Inc.* Note that Kustom didn't think it would work, and neither did SCO. But it seems to work just fine. This capability is important for anyone with secure workstation concerns, especially those in the defense industry, because it means that you can use UN*X during classified sessions instead of MS-DOS. I haven't tried XENIX V yet, but I have my hopes up! But why would I waste my time expressing someone else's opinion?
