My Wife runs a very successful typing service from home using (mostly) an IBM Selectric II typewriter. She has now reached the point where she has to turn down business because of the limitations imposed by using a typewriter. It is obvious now that with a computer and a good printer that she could continue to expand her business since a lot of what she types would (form letters etc.) take far less time using a computer. Since I have extensive Unix experience and am very comfortable with troff (macros etc.) I am biased toward a Unix based setup. What I need is some hardware/software recommendations. I am familiar with laser-printers, various Unix boxes (7300, 3b1, 6300+, ...) and would appreciate hearing from anyone who has put together a similar "publishing" setup.
