Help,

I am having problems doping out a problem with ATT PC-Interface and
a 3b2.  PC-Interface wants to wait until you drop back to DOS before
queueing something to print.  

Has anyone gotten around this feature ( yes it is documented.)

The printer release problem is a double edged sword. 2.2 PC Interface is to
blame but also are some applications.

First the good news - PCI 2.6.4 is now available and the "printer release"
problem has been corrected. The "printer remote" command now has an option /T.
If /T is used, the print file will be released if no new printer activity
occurs for 45 seconds.

Now for some of these stubborn applications - Even if PCI 2.6.4 is used,
applications like LOTUS 1-2-3 Release 1A will still not print because
LOTUS holds the print file until you exit LOTUS. LOTUS 2.0 releases the
print file when you exit the printer menu. 

So, PCI 2.6.4 will not solve your problems if you have an application like
LOTUS 1A.
