[net.micro.att] Adding objects to the shared library on a 3B1

I have a 3B1 running UnixPC version 3.0 of System V. Is there any way for
me (as root, I guess) to add .o files to the shared library? In particular, I
would like to add the PD versions of the directory access routines for the
"old" style, fixed length directories.
