I'm soliciting recommendations for a GOOD graphics editor which runs under SCO XENIX V on the AT&T PC 6300. By GOOD I mean such things as 1. Interactive display manipulation 2. "What you see is what you get" 3. Flexible with respect to optional hardware (e.g. EGA boards or not) 4. Support for popular printers and plotters 5. Complete primitive set (circles, rectangles, arcs, etc) 6. Macro definition capability (for user-defined symbols) 7. Large virtual drawing surface (not all displayed at once) 8. Scroll and zoom to get along with #7 9. Intermediate output in some "standard" language (e.g. PIC/troff, DI-3000 metafiles, etc) I realize that this is a pretty bodacious list, and would be interested in packages that fall short in one or a few of these features. Of course, I've probably left out some important features, too. All comments or suggestions are welcome. You can reply by mail if you want, but I suspect that this will be of fairly general interest, so I'd like to see responses posted, and a dialogue established. Thanks!
