Is there NFS support from anyone on ATT 3B2's? People in ATT may think
its blasphamous, but its practical since we already have it on our Pyramid,
Suns, and soon IBM PC's.

Well it looks like everyone in the world except me knew that Lachman
Associates offers a port of NFS for System V. Many helpfull people
called and wrote to let me know. Its wonderfull when the net works
this way!
It is available in source from The Instruction Set
in Europe, and from Lachman Associates Inc in the USA.
Lachman Associates are at:
645 Blackhawk Drive,
Westmont,
Illinois 60559
Phone 1-800-LAI-UNIX
or (312)-986-8840
Even more interesting was a call I got from someone at ATT, whose
name I didn't record, who says that NFS (along with RFS) may be
officialially supported in an upcoming release of System V! I called
an official person at ATT (whose name was given to me by my caller).
She was very disconcerted when I told her that I heard this. She
said that she was not at liberty to talk about such things.
Anyway, I would vote for supporting both NFS and RFS by ATT as a good
thing to make Unix a more solid standard.
