[net.micro.att] more UNIX PC questions

1. I would like very much to be a part of the proposed Unix PC net. It's
been a while since I've heard about it and am wondering what has
   happened in the interim.

2. scrset(1) is described in my UNIX PC 3.0 documentation as a 'screen save'
feature. Unfortunately, the system doesn't recognize it (I've also
tried variations on the spelling). Has it been implemented?

3. Does anyone have a program that shows off the quality of the Unix PC's
screen - for example a rotating Earth display or a clock display?

			Thank you in advance, -dave

It is up and running with a fair amount of traffic beginning to flow.
You can contact me if interested in a feed.

Apparently, there is a bug in the 3.0 software (kernel?), that causes
this particular IO call not to work, so apparently the command was
not shipped (why don't they have an errata sheet that tells you this?).
I wrote a program that did the same thing that worked fine usually,
but when I posted it on the Unix PC net there was a report of a
system panic apparently caused by it. A 'person who should know' said
not to use this call.

There are those demo programs that came - the moving pictures that are
pretty good detail.
