[net.music.gdead] Irvine shows / songlists

ph28kc@sdcc12.UUCP (ph28kc) (04/15/85)

	HEY NOW!

Sorry to hear that Andy didn't have such a good time at Irvine,
myself, I had a blast. Seeing all my friends back from east coast
tour ( which regrettably I couldn't go on ), seeing lots of folks
from around here going to their first show and really enjoying
themselves, and finally, seeing what I thought were a couple of great
shows all added up to a fantastic weekend. I agree that Irvine isn't the
the greatest place in the world to see a Dead show ( fond memories
of Augusta surface here ) but it seems that the band get into the place.
If the security folk would just lighten up a little bit, maybe allow
dancing in the orchestra walkway as well as the lodge (how the f**k
do you spell 'lowge'? - my stubs are at home ) things would be a lot
cooler. I looked for netters over by the south gate occasionally but
didn't have much luck - confused a hell of a lot of people wearing
red hedbands though. Maybe we need a bit more unique identifying
marker, a net.music.gdead screen or something.
Anyways, I wanted to post the songlist from Sat. and see if
someone could help fill in my blanks for Sun.

Please help fill in the missing brain cells as I'd like to start
maintaining a cannonical collection for doing various statistical
tests, trend plots etc (:->) If people want to send me their lists
I'll post the final result.

  See you in Stanford.
