Ah, To relax with the dead. First, a few answers:
Whomever requested Mars Hotel, don't despair. It may be illegal to record
the album, but I have something better. There was a mars hotel out takes
tape made that I would be glad to forward to you if you identify yourself.
This tape is rare and wonderfull, it includes Phil teaching the band how
to play Unbroken Chain and Phil sings on it! The rest of the tape is
instrumental only and is one of my favorites. The flip side has some
live stuff from god knows where and includes an excellent version of
Midnight Moonlight. Much more satisfying than an album(Which we also
have) Me and my wife Irene have been enjoying the dead for years!
The letterman show was mediocre and mildly amusing. They only talked
for a few minutes and played The Monkey and the Engineer and something
else(I believe Alabama Getaway) . The band was not there, only Gerry
and Bobby, who played acoustic guitars. They were both uncomfortable
though, so you didnt miss anything. A favour: Irene and I have been
dreaming of seeing the Red Rocks shows for years. We finally have
the time and money. Can someone please help us find tickets?
Please? We would give up vices, send tapes(we have well over 100),
In short, we are desperate! Also, where do we stay? Any responses
will be greatly appreciated! Really! Thankyou people!
Every time that wheel turns round were bound to cover just a little
more ground.
