Had a great time at Saratoga! First, this is what they played: Midnight Hour Bertha Red Rooster Stagger Lee El Paso Crazy Fingers High Time Hell in a Bucket Don't Ease Me In Feel Like a Stranger Eyes of the World Going Down the Road Women Are Smarter (as usual, thought it was Aiko before it started) Drums Space Trucking Spoonful Black Peter Lovelight Johnny Be Good Baby Blue It was an excellent show - and the weather even held out until the very end. It was my first time seeing the Dead at Saratoga, and I knew it was the perfect place for them. Does anyone know how many people were there? Last year it was 37,000 and a friend of mine said it looked more crowded this year. The only thing that bothered me was that the security got really rough by the end. We were on the lawn by one of the bridges to the pavillion (second from left) and they had decided that only deadheads with reserved seating tickets (both of them :-) ) could go on the bridge. Well, deadicated dancers kept breaking through the 8 or 9 security guys and trying to make a break for it, and the guards were getting more and more pissed off - I saw them kicking one guy and roughing up others - anyone else see this kind of stuff going on? But aside from that it was great - the grounds were beautiful and the fun index was high !!! ". . . anyone know where the golf course is ? " Liz Smith If I'm going to hell in a bucket, at least I'm enjoying the ride !!!
