[net.music.gdead] Pop-O-Pies

Yes, the Pop-O-Pies version of "Truckin" is lovely. I understand that even
Jerry Garcia loved it when he heard it. It's speeded up and very
silly (has anyone heard the Dickies's 3-minute version of "Nights In White
Satin", not as silly but also good as a "legitimate" new version).

This version of Truckin is definately worth checking out. As a Deadhead I
usually frown upon people toying with the Dead's lyrics, but Pop-O-Pies
manage a couple of "improvements". My personal favorite (as an ex-New
Yorker) is "New York, too close to New Jersey...". It is the quickest
Truckin you are likely to hear.
