I (and, I'm sure, the rest of the readership of this group) was astounded and amazed at the recent revelation of the secret anagram, GRATEFUL DEAD ==> A drug led fate. This is too true to be just a coincidence. So I thought I'd see if some other secret messages appear in the titles of Grateful Dead albums. Sure enough, they are there, lots of them. These are truly exciting and cosmically significant discoveries! Unfortunately, none are *quite* as clear and unambiguous as the original discovery. So to be safe I am including the best three readings from each title I have examined so far. Read, and be enlightened or whatever: WAKE OF THE FLOOD ==> Felt dew of hooka? Foo, what old keef! We hold off a toke. WORKINGMANS DEAD ==> Manage kind words. Die now, grand mask. Amen, sad grown kid. AMERICAN BEAUTY ==> Ace may be in a rut. Beauty in camera Bear many a cutie. ANTHEM OF THE SUN ==> Hum the tone, fans. Fun shone at them. Them sho' neat fun. Oh boy. Right again. Charles Poirier
