HEY NOW! It looks like I'll be riding my bicycle from Fresno or Merced up to the Donner Pass show. It'll be about 300 to 350 miles depending on start location and I plan on over 60 mi/day (lots of climbing) The route goes throught Yosemite, over Tioga Pass, up 395 and over to Tahoe, around the lake, and up to Donner. If anyone else out there is sick enough to think this sounds like fun, drop me a line, it would be great to have some company. Timing, mileage and route are very flexible for me so any suggestions are welcome. For those of you taking more conventional modes of conveyance, if you happen to pass a biker in tye-dye struggling up some 2000 foot climb, pull over and donate a cold one to the cause, or at least shout some words of encouragement as you pass. ' Bound to cover just a little more ground' On a completely different tack: At the Ventura shows, in the inner recesses of the campgrond back by the bathroom/shower area, there was a group of people who had set up a 15'x15' or so movie screen and were showing all kinds of trippy movies on (at least) Sat night. I was lucky enough to happen on by when they showed The Hog Farm Movie. This movie appeared to my amazed, stoned, and astounded eyes, to consist largely of footage from The Movie (of Prankster origin) and had narration that seemed to be the multiple microphone, tape delay, electronic rapping thing described in various books about the pranksters. Soooooo..... a few questions: What does anybody know about this movie? about the Hog Farm past and present ? and, does anybody know who those wonderful people who set up the movies were ? I'd like to send them my thanks. If you go to Ventura next year be sure to look for these folks, they had all kinds of great stuff to watch & listen to. _______ _______ _ _______ \ _______ _-` \ _______/ _______ _-` _______/ Ken Cluff {decvax|dcdwest|ihnp4|ucbvax}!sdcsvax!sdcc3!sdcc12!ph28kc
