I'd maybe like to solicit a few comments from people who were at
the shows out of curiousity to see if they felt the same way I did
about the shows.

I really enjoyed the show on Friday night (silly comment), specifically
opening with Dancin. There were good jams from everyone during Red
Rooster, and I especially liked the fast, upbeat version of Stagger Lee.
Jack Straw and Don't Ease really were a pretty rocking ending to the first
set. I was pretty surprised by Jerry following High Time with He's gone.
I thought for sure he would need a rest after the harmonies in high time.
At the end of Lost Sailor it they played the first few notes of
Saint of Circumstance, but waited until after space to come back into
it. I was thoroughly happy about Gloria, that has got to be one of best songs
for crowd participation they do. The place was really into it.

Second night...
I thought the first set slowed down a little after Bertha and Greatest
Story, I'm not real crazy about Dupree's anyway.
Candyman and Let it Grow I thought were very hot tunes. They did some
tremendous jams around let it grow. Good Stuff.. I couldn't say too much
about the second set because I kinda just drooled all over myself. Looking
at the setist for the second set gets me kinda excited.
Anyone else think that Love Light was cut a little short???
I also thought Saturday night was a little spacier, I'd be curious
to find out if that was only me or not...
I don't think I've ever experienced anything like that one note that mickey
hart hit during space a few times on Saturday night. It's not that it was
that loud but I thought the top was gonna fly off the arena. He did
it a couple times to let us know that their sound system could probably
take down the building if they wanted to. Maybe it was just the purity of
such a low tone, but it was one of those sounds that it feels like you can
feel the shock wave.

Just like to spur a little discussion of what other people thought
of the shows...
