Well, folks, last night was another dead show at the Centrum in Worcester. When headed to a dead show, I often begin to wonder, "Why do I keep doing this?" By the end of the show, I usually remember why. "Sunlight splatters dawn with answers" Last night's show appears pretty standard on paper. It probably was pretty standard. But it seems that in the Grateful Dead realm of reality, it's pretty standard to be blown away. What I'm trying to say is that the show was HOT, HOT, HOT. Ho, hum, another dead show! It's really hard to pick a highlight, but they did one real good version of China Cat/Rider. The jam after Playing in the Band was real good, and it was a real nice Terrapin. I also liked the version of Wharf Rat they did. Oh, and then there was the first set... I guess you all are getting the picture...so, without further ado, here's the song list, to the best of my memory. Alabama Getaway -> Promised Land Must've Been the Roses El Paso West LA Fadeaway Minglewood Big Railroad Blues Music Never Stopped -> Might As Well -- China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider Playing in the Band -> Terrapin -> drums -> space -> The Wheel -> Truckin' -> Wharf Rat -> Sugar Magnolia -- U.S. Blues P.S. One of the people I went with has never listened to Dead albums or tapes, and had never been to a show before, but is now planning on going to New Year's Eve.
