Subject: Solution of ARPA-time on SYSTEM III
I was able to finally solve the problem of make arpatime-strings on
SYSII machines without using the TZ environment variable (in some
cases, at least). I have posted the code to net.sources. If you
cannot get it that way, I can mail you a copy.

At our department we have a Vax and some Whitechapel MG1's (32016)
on the Ether. We found that we need to switch udp checksum checking
off on the MG1's for them to accept the rwho packets from the VAX
The other way works fine. I haven't had time to find out why this is,
but it is easy to do with adb :
adb -w -k /vmunix /dev/kmem
ubpcksum/W 0
$q
