	Thanks to all those who answered my request for help with Phantasia.
	I finally figured out what the problem was and since several people
	asked that I inform them when found the answer I decided to just post
	it.

	It seems that when the game has been terminated irregularly it is 
	flagged as having been tampered with.  In this case the quickness
	of the character is set to a -100.  This much I had figured out.
	The part I missed was the fact that the age of the character is also
	set to a very high level.  All I had to do was set the age back to a
	reasonable number and everything worked fine.
