[net.sf-lovers] 7th Amber book?

hogge@uiucdcsp.CS.UIUC.EDU (01/25/86)

I just polished off the 6th book of Amber (Zelazny's "Trumps of
Doom"). Kind of leaves you hanging, doesn't it? I liked it the best
of all the Amber books, since the mystery-novel elements were stronger.
(Some of the previous books' mysteries weren't very tight.)

The question is, Is there a 7th book out or coming soon? What if Zelazny
dies suddenly? I'd be screwed for LIFE!!

Remembering the initial wait between Amber installments -- I think Zelazny
does it on purpose =;-> (devilish grin)

You and me both. But yes, he is under contract for three Amber books,
of which TRUMPS OF DOOM was the first. The second is tentatively
entitled GHOSTWEEL and was delivered several months ago. I'm hoping
for a late spring or summer release.
