*** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE *** Hi greg - thanks for your response to my postings. I've posted this here because I have never successfully mailed anything from this net to ARPA-net. RE: Emile Tobenfeld - yeah Dr. T. I've talked with him extensively already. His software does *seem* impressive - but he hasn't convinced me that there are no sync problems with the C-64 interface. You see, since he uses the same piece of hardware as Sequential, I don't believe that the timing is compatible with the Oberheim DX drum machine. I am planning on finding out though - so I'll let you know. I didn't find Dr. T too abrasive - just very busy. Also, he started a lot of hype when he established me as a potential customer. He has software for storing and editing DX7 patches on the C-64 and although it wasn't the most user-friendly code I've ever run (whatever that means), I use it with no major complaints. I have a few tricks on the patch librarian if you're interested. I have had one other response from another ARPA-netter who wants to trade patches. I'll probably post a file we can use to fill in the numbers. Take care. John
