[net.music.synth] Next Purchase

This is sort of an open question. Being the proud owner of an old Korg 
Poly 61 and a Tascam 244 and a Dr. Rhythm (so we're talking big time yet)...
I'd like to enter the big time (or at least as close as I can get). 
For around $3000-$4000, what sort a keyboards/sequencer would all of you 
out there suggest? Am open to comments...

In my opinion the most powerfull machine in this price range is the SYNERGY.
You should be able to get one without the computer i/f and voicing capabilities
for about $4000.00. Later you could add the computer i/f and voicing s/w
(runs on a Kaypro); you would then have the equivalent of a $30000.00 
DS system.
