[net.music.synth] Portable Keyboard

Chic Corea was on the Letterman show recently and
played a number with the band. He had a small portable
keyboard which didn't sound half bad. It had a breath
control device on it also. Chic said it was a Yamaha, but
didn't say what the model# was.
Anybody have any more information about this keyboard?
Or any other portable keyboards for that matter. (I'm in the
market for one at the moment).

I didn't see the show but I do know that Corea uses a
YAMAHA CS01 synth which is a little smaller than your
average terminal keyboard (about 12" by 5" by 1"). It
retails for under $200 in Canada (breath controller
optional at extra cost). It runs on batteries, and there
is also a mixer and headphone amp that match available.
All you need to add is a monkey and you're all set.
