nivek@cmu-ri-rover.ARPA (Kevin Dowling) (08/27/85)

You can get the MIDI Spec from the
International MIDI Association
11857 Hartsook St.
North Hollywood, CA 91607
(818) 505-8964

For $40/yr you can become a member of the IMA.
Includes the monthly IMA Bulletin, access to the IMA Hotline, and
a copy of the MIDI Spec 1.0

Also from the latest newsletter:

"The IMA will be distributing the MIDI 1.0 Detailed Specification
Document created by the Japan MIDI Standards Committee (JMSC) and the
MIDI Manufacturer's Assoc. (MMA). The document is in three parts; the MIDI
1.0 Spec (same as you get when you join the IMA), a detailed explanation
of the specification, and instructions on how to create a standard MIDI
implementation chart.

The Document was created by the JMSC to clear up some "grey areas"
found in the MIDI Spec. The IMA will be the sole distributor of this document
for the MMA. Available Mid-August (85) for $30 (+ P&H) for IMA members
and $35 for non-members."
