I've been a Memorymoog plus owner for a year now, and although there are some who would relay their sentiments to me for my unfortunate choice, I am fairly pleased with it. However, I have begun to run out of the added patience that is needed to create new patches. If anyone out there has any information regarding patches, shortcuts to making them, sound secrets to share, or any other pertinent information I would greatly appreciate hearing from them. This includes any information concerning midi, I don't have any idea what kind of capabilities this beast has using it, all I know is that the stupid DIN plug has gone unused for the past year. On a side note for all you new synth owners, send in your warranty validation card. The most frustrating thing about these cards is that they do little for validating your warranty when you try to get any service that's covered by it. That's what you save your sales receipt for. My problem as a naive musician was that I knew only that, and neglected to send in the card. I found out later that Moog Inc. has a decent mailing list for those bright enough to send those cards in. Now I have to send a nice letter explaining my ignorance and begging for mercy.:-) I know, but I hate doing these things, I'd rather be experimenting with my 'cat-in-the-blender' patch.
