THE PRESSURE SENSOR RETROFIT IS READY!!! I just heard from Oberheim today. The retrofit is FREE, and this is how you get it: 1) Contact your local Oberheim Authorized Service Center and inform them that you would like to obtain the update. 2) Make arrangements with the center as to when the update will be performed. They may need to order it. 3) Bring in your instrument. NO CHARGE for parts or labor. 4) Be sure to pick up the MATRIX-12 PRESSURE SENSITIVITY OWNER'S GUIDE which will be supplied with the update. MORE NEWS: The Matrix-12 2nd Edition Owner's Manual will be ready in Feb/March of this year. GREAT NEWS: Because Oberheim feels guilty about taking so long on this pressure retrofit, it has announce that the INDIVIDUAL VOICE OUTPUT option will be free of charge as well!!! When you get the pressure retrofit, pick up a Certificate which can be redeemed for a free Individual Voice Output kit in late Spring/early summer. Banzai!! Dan Barrett
