Someone also asked about a device that let's you change the tempo of a piece
without changing it's pitch, like the Radio Shack variable speed cassette.
I already did a note here on harmonizers. It's the same thing. Actually,
you're changing the pitch, having sped up the tape. NO device can
IN REAL TIME during live performance, change the tempo of a piece wihtout
never mind the without. You CAN change the tempo of a recorded piece
by changing the tape playback speed, and then you correct the pitch with
a harmonizer.

I had considered building a delay, and I thought that my delay would change
delay length in all cases by changing the length of RAM by which the
reader followed the writer, and they would always use the whole RAM.
But I didn't build it. The DOD delay has only only address counter, so that
the circuit first reads an address then writes new data to the same address.
( the cheap DOD 1.9s delay, ca. $240).
