MADAN PURI PASSES AWAY
Madan Puri, who played the villain in several popular
Hindi films before graduating to character roles, passed
away on Jan. 10 of a kidney ailment. He was 69.
After playing villain for quite a long time, he switched
over to character roles with the role of the loveable
grandfather in "Dulhan Wahi Jo Piya Man Bhaye".
Madan Puri was the elder brother of Amrish Puri.
