Will someone who has access to the recent assembly election results
please post it on the net? Specifically, Partywise seat tally of Karnataka, AP
and Maharashtra will be of interest. From Washington Post of March 7th,
I gathered the following information.
In all states but Karnataka, AP and Sikkim, Congress(I) is winning
by big margins (over 2/3rds in MP).
Karnataka: Janata 113 out of 160 announced. Total assembly seats: 224.
AP: Telugu Desam is winning by handsome margin. Congress (I) hoping
to cross the mark 30 to qualify for being recognised as the
main opposition.
