        MALAYALAM LANGUAGES COURSES AT UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS SUMMER SCHOOL

	Beginning and Intermediate Malayalam will be taught by Professor Rodney
Moag, Visiting Professor, during the 1985 summer session at the University of
Texas.  Professor Moag is the author of two textbooks on the language, including
MALAYALAM: A UNIVERSITY COURSE AND REFERENCE GRAMMAR.  Language lab sessions
will be an integral part of the course using the complete set of lab tapes pre-
pared for the 25 lessons contained in the above text.  The tapes were produced
by the instructor, and feature a native speaker pronunciation model.

Admission:

	Applications for admission to summer session at the University of Texas
are available from the Office of Admissions, University of Texas, Austin, TX
78712.  The application may be used by both undergraduate and graduate students
wishing to study at the university for the summer session.  This application is
intended for the student who does not intend to work toward a degree at the
University of Texas, who will register in the summer only, and who has previous-
ly attended college.  The application deadline is May 1, 1985 and there is no
application fee.

Tuition and Fees:

	Tuition and fees for Beginning Malayalam and Intermediate Malayalam
(6 credits for 12 week summer session for each course) will be as follows:
Texas resident:  $ 154.00; Out-of-State:  $344.00.
