Joshu asked, "Do dogs have democracy?".
Eliza said, "Foo".

A politician once came to the learned sage Chanakya and
said, "People are poor; so am I. People are hungry; so am I".
Chanakya said, "Get rich".
A few years later the politician returned and said,
"People are poor. People are hungry".
Chanakya said, "".
Politician was enlightened and thought, "...but I am not".

There was a bodhi tree infested with as many birds as the leaves it had.
The passing one-eyed monk asked his fellow monk, "Why won't they
fly to the next greener tree?". The fellow monk replied, "The roots
are deep and they don't have wings".
The one-eyed monk again asked, "Is that a democracy?"
The fellow monk replied, "They are alive and have two eyes each".

"If a movie star becomes a politician, will he attain nirvana?", asked Bala.
Master said nothing.
"If a movie star becomes a prime minister, will he attain nirvana", asked
Bala.
Master said nothing.
"If a movie star becomes a president, will he attain nirvana?", asked Bala.

Master said, "Pumpkins are already pregnant".

Chotu, sitting on a tree,
was cooking rice in a pot hung by the branch of the tree.
Motu said, "Your pot has no bottom".
Chotu said, "Your top has no roof".
They fought over it and came to the master.
Master said, "I have neither".
