The recent news of the merger between ELXSI and Trilogy was intriguing. I'm not sure if it's widely known that ELXSI (an emerging maker of supercomputers and superminis, noted for their novel, high-capacity bus architecture for multiple processors) has some connection with the Tata group in India; I believe they have manufacturing operations in Singapore. Trilogy recently failed to deliver on their promised wafer-level integration. The cash infusion from Trilogy will probably help cash-strapped ELXSI.
