Just called the AT&T operator to find out the latest direct dial rates
to India from the U.S.. Seems they have dropped further. Here is what
the operator told me.
Direct dial Rates from U.S. to India:
Time First Min. Ea. additional Min.
------ ----------- --------------------
6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. $4.90 $2.77
1:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. $3.67 $2.08
11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. $2.94 $1.66
There is some federal tax (3% I think) which is unchanged.
