[net.nlang.india] Sathya Sai Baba

I am curious to know if any of the readers of this group
have an opinion about Sathya Sai Baba. I had a chance to
see him when I was in India several years ago, and he
seems to be a most interesting spiritual teacher.

People have called Sri Satya Sai Baba a

... cheat, sham, magician, gay, miracle worker, faith healer, avtar, god ...

So it is difficult to form a single opinion.

My personal views ... Hmm ....

I think he is a scorpio.

I find it very hard to pass any judgements on these people, since
I never go /have any use for gurus. I will say one thing
for Sai baba : he has used the enormous wealth he has earned very
wisely: by investing in India. His organization runs colleges, farms
etc. This is in stark contrast to Mahesh or Rajneesh who as far
as I know have done nothing comparable.
