The following post will be a new interactive graphic adventure game by Al Evans,a "certified" Mac programmer. It is written in Lisa Pascal and 68000 assembly (I'm told). Sorry to sound so bland, I'm at a loss for words. It is an exciting game... you are Captain Lance Magneto, stranded on a planet. Your misson: recover the crown of control and escape. Problems: Your ship is wrecked, you have no weapons, and your tricorder is missing. There are creatures of all shapes and sizes around, and if you have the MacinTalk driver (from Apple) all of them will talk! (512 is also needed, I believe) It is shareware, and the author wishes it to be distributed as much as possible! Look for it in an upcoming copy of MacUser! Neil Shapiro loves it! It is 6 packited files, and the packit file was in turn binhexed. it is over 200k, but I believe it is worth the download time. I typed this apology a whie ago, but somehow it wasnt posted either. What happened is, I tried to upload magneto 5 times, and each time it print ed something on the order of "^NPackit", then in beeped for 2 minutes, then it printed a whole screenful of "^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@", beeped again, then it started doing something that looked like uploading, but it had done a shell escape by then and was uploading to the main system not to usenet... I dont know what happened... I will try to get someone else to upload it if it does not work this time. ------------------------------------
