I think some people may be confusing some issues here. (As an aside, clearly Datapoint wasn't concerned about the possible existence of a videogame with the same name as their product, if such was actually the case.) There are differences between service marks and trademarks. There are differences depending on the exact names used. For example, how many products/services can you name that have the word "Star" in their names? A case in point: My local bank is now interconnected to a major interbank ATM network called "Star System" or some such. And of course there's the "Xerox Star," etc., etc. The point I'm making is that in most cases, there is a difference between: Foo Foo Bar The Foo Bar Network The Foo Bar Service ... etc. In any case, this whole issue is being passed along to people who have the facilities to research the details properly.
