I've a public confession to make.... I promised Paul Torek that I'd read a certain book (if he would read one of mine), but I haven't yet finished it (I can only get to it at a library during inconvenient hours, and only read it there.... honest!). In it, I read of "Clarke Taxes", and since I've been asked about them, but can't get my mailer to answer a pleasant inquiry about them, I post herewith the confession (above) and the reference (below).
